José Luis Rey Vila (Cádiz, 1900 – Paris, 1983), known as Sim, documented the Spanish Civil War in Barcelona through his graphic work. This exhibition features almost fifty drawings, recently acquired by the Museu Nacional. All pieces were created during the conflict, with Sim acting as a key chronicler. The display captures the brutality of battle, civilian evacuations, and daily tension. An acquisition strengthening MNAC's collection on this period, curated by Eduard Vallès.
