Dossier. Tàpies' Chairs. Invoking the Cleft. This cycle presents eight sound actions. They center the voice, treating it as living matter. The word emerges as a territory for construction, a space for transformation. Hybrid practices fuse performance, music, dance. They connect oral tradition, electronics, poetry.
The summoned voices occupy the void between the intimate and the collective. They transfigure it into a "cleft", a space of active, poetic presence. This cycle does not just accompany oral memory. It also strains it, reinterprets it, projects it into the future. It sets tradition in dialogue with modernity.
Contemporary voices confront Antoni Tàpies' universe. His forceful gesture, his critical gaze. His deep connection with the invisible inhabiting matter, silence. The chair ceases to be a seat.
