Plaça del Sol: Home to counterculture.
La Kontra, a countercultural hub forged in 2023, emerges in Gràcia's vibrant Plaça del Sol, a historic square urbanized in 1840. Taking over the former Dorado Disco Club (1987-2023) site, this cooperative project redefines local buzz. Antifascism, anti-racism, and feminism are its cornerstones, with a strong LGTBIQ+ perspective. From debates and screenings to vinyl sets and jam sessions, its programming nurtures the neighborhood's emerging talent.
