Casal de Barri La Cosa Nostra
Casal La Cosa Nostra: Cohesion and culture in working-class Can Peguera.
Rooted in the heart of Can Peguera, Casal de Barri La Cosa Nostra stands as a cultural and social epicenter in the Nou Barris district. Located at C Biure 1, this public facility integrates into the distinctive urban fabric of 'casas baratas' – a unique collection of single-story workers' homes, a 20th-century legacy that defines the neighborhood's morphology. Established as a second-degree entity, La Cosa Nostra brings together various neighborhood associations, fostering a space for integration and collective participation. Its offerings, ranging from diverse workshops to sports activities and community events, cement social cohesion in the area, providing an authentic pulse to neighborhood life.
