Exhibition — Anniversary Fifty years of the Arxiu Històric del Poblenou. The archive traces the neighborhood's industrial legacy through an evolving exhibition. The project is structured around three elements: a changing exhibition at the headquarters, the Torre de les Aigües del Besòs; artistic interventions within the Tower itself; and a show at Palo Alto, a collaboration with BAU. Twenty-nine chimneys, remnants of over two hundred that once populated the area, serve as a central theme. Their presence marks Poblenou's urban transformation, from its agricultural roots to 22@ and the "superilles". The exhibition explores factory histories, their workers, architectural evolution, and neighborhood preservation movements. An unusual city perspective is offered from the Tower. Curated by Xavier Acarín, the project includes contributions from researchers, artists, and the local community. Visitors are invited to participate in a time capsule, destined for 2043.

Parc del Poblenou

Coastal metamorphosis: sand meets city.

At Avenida Litoral 59, Parc del Poblenou redefines Barcelona's seafront, a key transformation since the 1992 Olympics. What was once a degraded plot and landfill is now a dune landscape of Mediterranean flora, linking the beach with Poblenou's urban grid. Its paths—crafted from wood, compacted earth, and colored concrete—along with sports zones and kiosks, make it a crucial transition point. Recently, it's welcomed the "Platgeta del Poblenou," a standout play area with swings and structures for kids. This park embodies the shift from an industrial district to a cultural and leisure hub.
