The venue
In Vila de Gràcia, 53 Siracusa street showcases a 1900 building by architect Enric Sagnier. Originally conceived as the Sacred Heart School for the Daughters of Jesus, its facade reveals a historicist style, with ornamental details and a triangular crowning that defines its discreet monumentality. Today, this building houses the Catalan Association for Human Integration and Development (ACIDH), an organization that since 1994 has dedicated its work to the social and labor inclusion of individuals with borderline intellectual functioning. The space, transformed into an adult school, merges architectural heritage with an active social function within Barcelona's urban fabric.
