The venue
The Ateneu de Fabricació Digital de Les Corts, at Carrer d'Evarist Arnús 59, is a public creation lab at the district's core. A pioneer in Barcelona's Fab Lab network, it took over the old Benet Campabadal factory, a 1924 building originally for silk ribbon production, closed in '84. Since 2013, the Ateneu has democratized tech, offering tools like 3D printers and laser cutters to the community. Sharing space with the Biblioteca Montserrat Abelló, it fuels experimentation and projects, big on social inclusion and collaborative innovation.
