The Auditori L'Illa, located at Avinguda Diagonal, 547, is part of the L'Illa Diagonal complex, a creation by Rafael Moneo and Manuel de Solà-Morales. Opened in 1993, this 'horizontal skyscraper' redefined the Eixample's urban morphology. Its design, awarded the FAD Architecture Prize in 1994, articulates fragmented volumes that interact with Cerdà's urban grid, prioritizing urban continuity. The Auditori serves as an adaptable space for cultural and corporate events, cementing a meeting point for diverse performing arts and professional gatherings on Les Corts' commercial artery.
