The venue
Bodega Josefa, known as 'La Pepeta,' opened its doors at Carrer Saragossa 86, rooted in the heart of El Putxet i el Farró since the 1920s. This cornerstone of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi neighborhood transcended mere dining, acting as a vibrant community hub. Its walls told tales of decades of local and culé history, filled with photographs and memories. Under family management, including the Balsalobre brothers, it offered authentic homemade cuisine and traditional vermouth. Recently, it has closed its doors, leaving a void in the district's cultural and gastronomic fabric.
