The venue
Ca l'Aranyó, located in the Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou, stands as a landmark of 19th-century industrial architecture in Barcelona. Built between 1872 and 1878 for Claudi Aranyó, this former cotton factory showcases a unique 'Manchesterian' style, blending exposed brick and British metal structures with traditional Catalan vaults. Its imposing 36-meter-high brick chimney still dominates the skyline. Declared a Local Heritage Site, the building was rehabilitated and now houses the Communication Campus of Universitat Pompeu Fabra, integrating into the 22@ district's transformation.
