Can Mora

Can Móra: 18th-century farmhouse, El Carmel's memory.

  • El CarmelC Portell 11

The venue

Can Móra, at C Portell 11, stands in El Carmel as one of Barcelona's best-preserved farmhouses. Dating back to 1750, its structure is the result of an 18th-century renovation of an earlier building, with a gallery added in 1866. Listed as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest, this estate was a historical landmark; indeed, Turó del Carmel bore its name for centuries. Today, the farmhouse, with its monolithic lintel facade and the inscription "Torre Sana 1750", operates as a residence, preserving rural architecture within the urban fabric.
