Can Pardal, in Vila de Gràcia, stands as a 19th-century architectural landmark. Built in 1875 over an old farmhouse, this neoclassical building features a facade with aligned balconies and a rear loggia with basket-handle arches. Its most unique feature is a clock tower, installed in 1878 to fill the silence of Plaça de la Vila's bell tower after the Revolta de les Quintes. This historical detail made it a sonic landmark in the neighborhood. It also housed the El Globo match factory and a pharmacy famed for its Juanola lozenges. A tangible testament to Gràcia's urban evolution, preserving its residential and productive past.
