The venue

Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, unveils a landscape where geology reigns supreme. Formed by 400-million-year-old metamorphic rocks, this promontory showcases folds and shears sculpted by the Tramuntana wind and the sea. Its unique topography, a world-renowned 'geological laboratory,' was a muse for Salvador Dalí, who lived in nearby Portlligat and depicted its rock formations in key works. Declared a Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park in 1998, the area also preserves ancient traces like Neolithic dolmens and the Romanesque monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes.
