Noucentisme in Eixample: Casa Pere Company, 1911.

The venue

Casa Pere Company, built in 1911 at the confluence of Buenos Aires 56-58 and Casanovas 203, is an early work by renowned architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Considered the first building of his 'white phase,' it merges Noucentisme with clear influences from the Viennese Secession. Its facade stands out, adorned with a sgraffito of the Virgin of the Assumption, a creation by Tomàs Fontanals. Originally a single-family chalet, it evolved into a clinic and today houses the Sports Museum, a testament to its adaptability and cultural value in l'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample.
