The venue
In the heart of Dreta de l'Eixample, Casa Domènech i Estapà stands at C València 241, a testament to a unique architectural vision. Built between 1908 and 1909 by Josep Domènech i Estapà as his family home, its aesthetic breaks from predominant Catalan Modernism. It showcases an exposed brick facade, rare in the Eixample, and a formal asymmetry highlighted by wooden glazed loggias, echoing Central European Art Nouveau. His son's later intervention, adding a floor and attic, respected the essence of this work, now a listed cultural asset of local interest. A key piece in Barcelona's urban fabric.
