Modernist geometry, cultural pulse.

The venue
Casa Hurtado, built between 1904 and 1906 by Guillem Busquets i Vautravers, stands as a prominent Modernist gem in Pedralbes. Commissioned by jeweler Antoni Hurtado i Estapé as a summer residence, this building boasts asymmetrical volumetry and a blend of materials: stucco, irregular masonry, exposed brick, glazed ceramics, and wrought iron with floral motifs. After decades of neglect, the property at Avinguda de Pedralbes 46 is being revitalized into a public facility. Set to become the future home of the Victoria de los Ángeles Foundation, it will host cultural and community activities, providing Les Corts district with a new civic and artistic hub from 2027.
