The venue
In Portlligat, Cadaqués, the Salvador Dalí House goes beyond a mere museum. From 1930 to 1982, this coastal spot was home and workshop to the artist and Gala. What began as fishermen's huts, Dalí transformed into a labyrinthine structure, a 'true biological structure.' Its rooms reveal his studio with intact tools, the library, and quarters where the everyday intertwines with the surreal. Strategic windows frame the bay, reflecting constant inspiration. A space offering direct immersion into the mind of the Ampurdanian genius. His iconic black Cadillac, in the courtyard, completes this personal stage.
