Where Cuba meets Fabra i Puig, Can Guardiola stands as an architectural testament to early 20th-century Sant Andreu. Designed in 1903 by J. Codina Clapés, its façade blends modernism with Catalan Baroque and Plateresque influences—visible in the mixtilinear crowning and sculpted stone balconies. Floral sgraffito and wrought ironwork echo contemporary architects. Originally residential, a neighborhood campaign saved the building; it now operates as a Civic and Community Center, an 'associations hub' hosting diverse groups, cementing its role as a cultural and social cornerstone of the district.
