The venue
Cases Blanques, nestled in Montbau, stands as a prime example of 20th-century social urbanism in Barcelona. Designed by Joan Bosch i Agustí for the Municipal Housing Board (1963-1968), it features rationalist architecture clearly influenced by Le Corbusier. Its 58 duplex homes cascade down the Collserola hillside, interconnected by pedestrian pathways named after colors. The white facades visually contrast with the forested backdrop, creating a distinctive visual interplay. A 1967 FAD awards finalist, this project is a landmark of liveability and design seamlessly integrated into Barcelona's urban fabric.
