The venue
Lleida's New Cathedral, built between 1761 and 1782, embodies Bourbon neoclassical academicism in Catalonia. Designed by engineer Pedro Martín Cermeño, its three-nave layout and sober facade addressed the need for a new seat after the Seu Vella was militarized.
