The venue
Opened in 1995, Maremàgnum Shopping Centre was key to redefining Port Vell for the 1992 Olympic Games. It sits atop the Moll d'Espanya, with its original design by Piñón, Viaplana, and Coll connecting to land via Rambla de Mar. A recent intervention by L35 Architects reconfigured its structure, adding expansive skylights and terraces that deepen its connection to the sea. It now hosts the Time Out Market, repositioning it as a gastronomic and cultural hub operating 365 days a year—essential to Barcelona's coastal urban dynamic.
