The Centre d'Estudis Ignasi Iglésias is housed in the birthplace of Catalan playwright Ignasi Iglésias i Pujadas (1871-1928) in Sant Andreu. Founded in 1982 as the Arxiu Històric de Sant Andreu de Palomar and redefined in 1987, this non-profit center is dedicated to researching and promoting the heritage and history of the old town of Sant Andreu and the Pla de Barcelona. Through its magazine Finestrelles and an activity agenda, it helps safeguard local memory.
