THE VENUE
At the corner of Balmes 169 stands the Círculo Ecuestre, housed in Casa Pérez Samanillo. This modernist mansion, designed by Juan José Hervás Arizmendi in 1910 and awarded in 1911, features neo-Gothic details and architecture highlighting Corinthian columns and galleries with semicircular arches. Founded in 1856, the club has been a social hub for Catalan high society, evolving into a meeting forum for influential figures, intertwining cultural debate, reflection, and business networking. An architectural and social landmark in Sant Gervasi.
