The venue
Sant Martí de Provençals Complex: a relic of Barcelona's rural past, now framed by its urban present. This historic core, documented since the 10th century, predates Sant Martí district's industrial boom. The church, rebuilt between the 15th and 17th centuries, blends a Gothic portal with Baroque touches on its facade and bell tower. Its silhouette has endured the 1909 Tragic Week and the 1936 Civil War, restored anew each time. Flanking the church, old farmhouses like Ca l'Arnó, Can Planas, and Can Cadena, now vibrant neighborhood hubs, mark the shift from an agricultural community to a constantly evolving urban core. A living memory of a municipality annexed to Barcelona in 1897.
