In Sant Andreu, the diverse spaces across Bon Pastor and Baró de Viver converge at MUHBA Bon Pastor, the workers' housing museum. This cultural hub safeguards a cluster of 'Casas Baratas'—ground-floor homes built in 1929 for Barcelona's migrant and working populace. As the city's first social housing examples, these structures, preserved in their original setting, chronicle domestic life from 1929 to 2017. A collaboration between locals and the Barcelona History Museum, the project spotlights 20th-century housing struggles, offering a peek into popular architecture and the strong community ties of a revitalized peripheral district.
