The venue
Campus Mundet, in Montbau, stands on the former Llars Anna Gironella de Mundet (1957), a complex adapted by architect Baldrich to blend architecture with its natural surroundings. Its grounds house the Palau de Les Heures, Lluís Companys' provisional residence during the Civil War, and an air-raid shelter. The Llevant building served as a prisoner-of-war camp between 1939 and 1940. Today, the University of Barcelona occupies its facilities, hosting faculties of Psychology and Education, and the Centre for International Historical Studies. A space where history and knowledge converse with the Collserola landscape, shaping an urban memory of resilience and academia.
