The venue
Els Encants, in the Sant Martí district, is Europe's oldest second-hand market, with a lineage dating back to the 14th century. Its current location, inaugurated in 2013, is defined by a contemporary structure by Fermín Vázquez. A multi-level aluminum and zinc roof features a mirrored ceiling that reflects the market's activity, creating a kaleidoscopic effect over the grid of stalls. This space hosts traditional auctions and a varied offering, from antiques to modern objects, forming a commercial hub that blends cultural heritage with the urban vision of El Clot.
