This 3.22-meter bronze sculpture on a granite column commemorates the "colles" (groups) that annually lead the Festa de Sant Medir. This vibrant celebration, originating from an 1830 vow and renowned for its candy shower, embodies a core cultural aspect of Vila de Gràcia. After a journey across the district, the piece found its permanent home in this square, urbanized in 1825, a key point in Gràcia's urban fabric.
