The venue
Located on Avinguda de Miramar, within the Fundació Joan Miró, Espai 13 is a benchmark for emerging art in Barcelona. Created in 1978 as Espai 10 and relocated to the basement in 1988, this approx. 175m² center has been a constant platform for artistic experimentation. Through curatorial cycles, it promotes innovative practices and has boosted the careers of over 200 artists, establishing itself as a research space and a turning point for new generations in the cultural scene of Sants-Montjuïc.
