The venue
Barcelona Nord Bus Station, nestled in Fort Pienc, Eixample, is a historic and functional landmark. Opened in 1862 as a railway station, its architecture evolved from Pere Andrés' classicism to Demetri Ribes' modernist additions (1910-1915), featuring its iconic glass and iron roof. After closing as a train station in 1972, it reinvented itself as the city's main bus terminal and an Olympic sports center for the 1992 Games. Integrated with Parc de l'Estació del Nord, home to Beverly Pepper's land art, it's a key hub for urban mobility and culture.
