The venue
Fàbrica Sanchís, established in 1907 by Enric Sanchís i Ros in Bon Pastor, Sant Andreu, began as a chemical and dye producer. During the Civil War, its role shifted dramatically, collectivized and repurposed for arms manufacturing. This reorientation made it a military target, suffering a fascist bombing in 1937 that caused casualties in the nearby Casas Baratas. Today, only the former owner's residence, Casa Enric Sanchís, remains of its original structure, with municipal plans for its reuse as a neighborhood facility. The complex is now a vestige of 20th-century industrialization and conflict, marking a point of memory in Bon Pastor's urban fabric.
