The venue

Sculpted by Josep Moret and designed by Salvador Gurri between 1797 and 1802, the Font Hércules stands on Passeig de Sant Joan as Barcelona's oldest ornamental fountain. Its neoclassical style culminates in a nude Hercules, leaning on a club and draped in the Nemean lion's skin. Initially located on Passeig de l'Esplanada and moved in 1928, this Montjuïc stone piece bears witness to urban transformations. Listed as a local cultural asset, it symbolizes the city's mythical roots, a constant element in Gràcia's dynamism.
