At Travessera de Gràcia 126, Font Pública stands as an urban landmark in La Vila, built in 1844 to alleviate water scarcity in what was then the Gràcia neighborhood. This monument, flowing since April 5, 1845, features a traditional stone basin. Its Novecentista ceramic panels by Salvador Sunet i Urgellès are notable, showcasing a Catalan aesthetic in blue, green, and orange tones against white. Mascarons pour water into ornamental cups, complementing the vases on the upper balustrade. A stone inscription declares its foundational purpose, linking the fountain to the city's history and Gràcia's independent past.
