The venue
Forn de Pa Roura Vila, a pillar in Sant Gervasi - Galvany, has preserved its baking tradition since its founding in 1927 by Josep Roura Pallerols and Carme Vila Freixa. Listed as a heritage establishment (E2), its classicist facade—featuring marble cladding, fluted pilasters, and a broken pediment—exudes period aesthetics. Inside, the fourth family generation uses sourdough and a stone oven, perpetuating the artisanal craft that defines its neighborhood roots and its offer of traditional bread and specialties like 'coca de recapte'. Its history mirrors Barcelona's commercial evolution.
