Urbanism and Catalan literature converge.

The venue
Strategically set at the confluence of Passeig de Gràcia and Avenida Diagonal, the Jardinets de Salvador Espriu acts as a gateway to the Vila de Gràcia neighborhood. Designed by Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí in 1929, these rectangular gardens bridge the Eixample and historic Gràcia, annexed to Barcelona in 1897. The space pays homage to Salvador Espriu, a poet who lived nearby, featuring sculptures honoring Catalan literary giants like Joan Maragall, Pompeu Fabra, and Espriu himself. It's a vibrant urban meeting point and a stage for traditional Barcelona festivities, seamlessly blending history with local life.
