The venue
The Jardins de la Tamarita, on Passeig de Sant Gervasi, embody early 20th-century bourgeois urbanism in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. Designed between 1918 and 1920 by landscape architect Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí, this site blends Noucentista aesthetics with a classical, romantic layout. Once the private estate of cotton industrialist Llorenç Mata, it's distinctive for its two contrasting zones, ornamental ponds with lion figures, and the Plaza de los Cuatro Continentes. A century-old oak tree overlooks a restored space, open to the public since 1994, offering a green escape from the metropolis. The old mansion now houses the Fundación Blanquerna.
