The venue
Nestled in the heart of the Eixample, the Jardins Ferran Soldevila are an integral part of the Universitat de Barcelona's Historic Building, standing as a botanical and historical landmark. Inaugurated in 1871 alongside Elies Rogent's Neo-Romanesque construction, they were initially conceived by Josep Mirabent as a botanical garden. Today, this nearly one-hectare space is home to over 150 plant species, including centuries-old trees and tranquil ponds. Since 1995, the garden honors historian Ferran Soldevila, offering a haven of biodiversity and academic legacy within the urban fabric.
