The venue
Located in Vila de Gràcia, Jardins Mestre Balcells is an essential interstice in the neighborhood's dense urban fabric. Reopened in 2003 after decades hidden, the space significantly expanded in 2014, revealing winding paths and Canary Island palm trees. Its name honors Joan Balcells i Garcia, director of the Orfeó Gracienc, whose bronze figure by Rafael Solanich presides over the ensemble. A vibrant neighborhood meeting point, it offers a green, functional respite in the heart of Gràcia.
