The venue
Located in Ciutat Meridiana, Nou Barris district, L'Aqüeducte de Ciutat Meridiana stands as an architectural testament to Barcelona's 19th-century expansion. This section of the Baix Vallès Aqueduct, designed by Andreu Marí and financed by Manel Girona, was vital for the city's water supply, channeling 1,700 cubic meters of water daily from the Vallès. Its six semicircular arches, built with irregular stone and brick details, span the Tapioles stream. Now disused, it retains its significance as a Local Cultural Asset of Interest, integrated into the urban landscape as part of Parc de l'Aqüeducte—a functional relic revealing the infrastructure that shaped metropolitan development.
