Avenida Diagonal 629 anchors an architectural landmark in the heart of Les Corts. This complex, known as Torres La Caixa or Diagonal Vertical, defines Barcelona's skyline. Designed by Fransesc Mitjans and Santiago Balcells, its 1969 construction was a turning point, marking the city's first skyscraper. Its lenticular design, inspired by Milan's Pirelli Tower and adapted to a distinctive chamfer, seamlessly blends modernity with the urban fabric.
