The venue
Nestled in Sant Gervasi - la Bonanova, Plaça de la Bonanova stands as a central hub within the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. Urbanized in the latter half of the 19th century, its evolution—driven by the vital road link between Sant Gervasi and Sarrià—took root over the former Camp de Suca. The square is defined by the Església de la Mare de Déu de la Bonanova, its current structure dating to 1940 after the original temple's destruction in 1936. It was a historical enclave for the Catalan bourgeoisie, a legacy still visible in the surrounding residential architecture, marking it as a truly historic urban space.
