Marking the threshold of Vila de Gràcia, Plaça de Nicolás Salmerón connects the urban grid with the neighborhood's heart. Conceived in the 19th century as a bourgeois display, its Modernista buildings echo the grand estates of Passeig de Gràcia, discreetly veiling the area's popular essence. A historic communications hub, it was a crossroads witnessing horse-drawn carts and trams.
