The venue
In the heart of Sant Andreu, La Previsió Obrera rose in 1905 as a pillar of worker mutualism. This century-old institution provided vital services—from clinical aid to pensions and subsidies—easing the precarity of local laborers. Its classicist architecture features a door framed by diamond-pointed jambs and the entity's name on its lintel. The crowning, with a triangular pediment and vases on the cornice, highlights its corporate sobriety. Now residential, its facade still echoes the vibrant associative spirit of industrial Sant Andreu.
