La Vil·la Hèlius (Casa Grané)

Raspall's Modernism in bourgeois Pedralbes.

  • PedralbesC Panamà 13

The venue

La Vil·la Hèlius, also known as Casa Grané, stands as a significant example of Catalan Modernism in the Pedralbes neighborhood. Designed by Manuel J. Raspall i Mayol between 1906 and 1909, this residence was a summer villa for Barcelona's bourgeoisie. Its volumetric composition features juxtaposed geometric bodies and corner towers—distinctive elements of the style. Floral and geometric sgraffito, plus trencadís and mosaic ceramics, adorn its facades and perimeter wall. Listed in Barcelona's architectural heritage, its exterior evokes the elegance of an era.
