The venue
Masia Can Valent, in Porta (Nou Barris), dates back to the 16th century, built on vestiges of an 11th-12th century medieval defensive tower. Its asymmetrical basilica plan, with a wider left wing, shows centuries of agricultural use—vineyards, then 20th-century gardening. After years neglected and facing demolition, neighborhood persistence fueled its full rehabilitation (2022-2023). Today, this historic enclave, saved from decay, awaits new uses to honor its deep roots and community spirit.
