The venue
Moll de Bosch i Alsina, popularly known as Moll de la Fusta, anchors its presence in Port Vell, the heart of Barri Gòtic. This enclave, an ancient Roman port of Barcino, witnessed centuries of maritime trade. After its 1987 redevelopment, led by architect Manuel de Solá Morales, the pier transformed into a double-level urban promenade, integrating the waterfront with the city. Its features include pavilions with undulating geometry, specific urban furniture, and Javier Mariscal's iconic "La Gamba" sculpture. Today, it functions as a dynamic cultural space hosting concerts, fairs, and various activities, serving as a stage for the city's artistic and civic events, such as Fira de Nadal or La Mercè concerts. Its design blends port heritage with Barcelona's contemporary vitality.
