The venue
The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia (MAC) articulates the ancient history of this land, from prehistory to the Visigothic era. Its main headquarters stands in the former Palace of Graphic Arts on Montjuïc, a pavilion from the 1929 Exposition. From there, a network unfolds, encompassing important archaeological sites and collections, including the millennia-old Empúries, witness to the first Greek and Roman colonies on the peninsula.
