The venue
The Palau Municipal d'Esports de Badalona, known as Olimpic Arena, opened in 1991 to host the basketball tournament of the '92 Olympic Games, welcoming the legendary US Dream Team. Designed by architects Esteve Bonell and Francesc Rius, its design won the Mies van der Rohe Award and remains a key venue for major concerts and sporting events.
