The venue
Parc Can Ponsic in Sarrià stretches across the grounds of the former residential palace of the Sarriera i Montcada family, dating back to the 18th century. In 1892, architect August Font transformed the original farmhouse into a neo-Gothic mansion, now a listed cultural asset. Today, it houses a municipal music school, a legacy of the building's 1979 handover to the City Council for educational use. The property also features a circular watchtower, predating the palace, from the 11th or 12th century. Its gardens offer a serene public space with unique trees. The other side of the building is home to the district's Guardia Urbana headquarters.
