The venue
Parc de la Primavera, nestled on the Montjuïc hillside in Poble-sec (C Nou de la Rambla 203), is a contemporary green space unveiled in 2007. Designed by Patrizia Falcone, its vision goes beyond leisure: it stands atop an urban waste treatment center, seamlessly integrating functional chimneys into its landscape. This symbiosis of infrastructure and Mediterranean nature (pines, poplars) defines its unique character. It offers city views, terraced paths, and houses remnants of Refugium 307, a Civil War air-raid shelter, anchoring the site to history. Its design champions sustainability and environmental adaptability. A testament to urban landscape management in Barcelona.
